 Hebrews Hebrews were the first monotheistic people in the whole world.Firstly, the Hebrews were the first monotheistic people in the whole world because they received from God the covenant and a group called Patriarchs kept alive that alliance in a polytheistic world. Secondly, the Hebrews were the first monotheistic people in the whole world they stood in front of a lot of polytheistic peoples such as Egyptians, Greeks, Mesopotamians.
